On Friday, March 7, former Byron Area High School standout Jay Harris’ current college team, the Northland Lumberjacks, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Berea Mountaineers.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Lumberjacks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at RU Campus Baseball Field against Rockford Regents.
