Here’s our Fantastic Friday Five to conclude the week with five points of pride

Here’s our Fantastic Friday Five to conclude the week with five points of pride. Have a great weekend and GO TROJANS!

1. The Owosso High School Trojan Marching Band visited Central, Bryant and Emerson today to perform for students and get our fifth graders hyped up for band sign-ups.

2. Central Elementary’s PTO hosted Donuts with Grownups yesterday. The gym was filled with students, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and special people who make a difference in our students lives.

3. Each morning before school begins, Lincoln High School students raise the American and Michigan flags. Then shortly before dismissal student volunteers lower the flags, fold them appropriately, and ensure they are stored properly each night. This activity began as part of a civics lesson that students wished to continue.

4. Owosso High School’s Agri-Science class welcomed the Michigan Future Farmers of America State Officers today. Their interactive presentation focused on change. We have tremendous interest in our FFA chapter!

5. Owosso Middle School has a new staff member…Maverick! Maverick is the newest therapy dog be welcomed to the OPS team. He has been working in classrooms at OMS a few hours each week, getting prepared for his full-time job with our middle school students.
