Here’s the first Fantastic Friday Five of the 2022-2023 school year. This is where we conclude the week with five points of pride. Have a great weekend and GO TROJANS!
1. Owosso Middle School hosted a breakfast on Wednesday to welcome students who are new to OMS this year. The new students are in Mrs. Michalec’s Trojan Hour this marking period where they will get to know one another and all about our community. We are thrilled to welcome all our new students!
2. At the Owosso High School Student Services Center, freshmen students got to know their counselors, Mr. Ciarlino and Ms. Hoag, while also getting to know one another by playing a game of Jenga with random questions. Groups worked together to keep their games going while also answering questions about themselves throughout the game.
3. Central’s 5th Grade Safety Patrols are now in action! School Liaison Officer Schmitz swore in these new safety patrols yesterday
4. Owosso Public Schools proudly has *FIVE* School Liaison officers serving our district. Officer Schmitz, Officer Stone, Officer Fiebernitz, Officer Stockford, and Officer Davis are here to develop relationships with students and work alongside OPS administrators to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
5. Nurse Teresa O’Neil is here to care for our students! Nurse O’Neil joined the OPS team last year and we look forward to welcoming a second school nurse later this fall.
