Owosso High School teacher Mrs. Melanie Lounds was awarded a $100 grant yesterday from Team One Credit Union. Darryl Gross, Team One Branch Manager, and Jan Elbing, Team One Board Member and Owosso High School teacher, presented Mrs. Lounds with her grant yesterday which she plans to use towards books and student poetry events.
Team One Credit Union started as a teachers’ credit union. One way they continue to support teachers is through grants in communities they serve. Teachers can apply for grants at: https://www.teamonecu.org/teachergrant.php
