The City of Laingsburg Planning Commission ("Planning Commission") will hold a public hearing on March 21, 2022 at 7:00p.m. at Laingsburg City Hall, 114 N. Woodhull Street, Laingsburg, Michigan to review the following: Applicant/ Owner - Expert Lawn and Snow, LLC Site Location - 101 N. Laing St. & 118 Crum St., Laingsburg, MI 48848; Tax ID# 02242-002-001-00 & 022-42-002-002-00.
Request - To review the site and conditions, as well as accept public comment regarding the need for additional sound buffering for Expert Lawn and Snow, LLC, a contractor's establishment without outside storage. Ordinance Reference - Section 707, Compliance with Special Land Use Legal Description: CITY OF LAINGSBURG WEEK'S ADD W 45 FT OF LOT 1 EXN 45 FT THEREOF, BLK 2 & WEEK'S ADD N 45 FT OF W 45 FT OF LOT 1 ALSO S 8 FT OF W 45 FT OF LOT 2, BLK 2 Note: On September 14, 2020, Expert Lawn and Snow, LLC was approved for a special use permit and final site plan to operate a contractor's establishment without outside storage. At the time of approval, the Laingsburg City Council placed a condition on the special use permit that "[after one (1) year of operation, the Planning Commission will review the site and conditions, as well as accept public comment, regarding the need for additional sound barrier requirements as offered by the applicant as an alternative and at the applicant's cost."
Any persons wishing to address this issue should attend the meeting in person, by counsel, by personal representative, or they may submit their concerns in writing no later than March 18, 2022.
