Shiawassee District Library Durand Memorial Branch issued the following announcement on Mar. 11.
Our program last Saturday on making maple syrup was very interesting and enjoyed by all ages that attended. After the program, everyone enjoyed ice cream topped with maple syrup-it was yummy!-and the kids got to practice 'tapping' a tree.
