City of Owosso issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
Due to the late fall this year, public works will be conducting a third round of leaf pickup. We will begin on Monday, November 29 in section N1 and collecting leaves as fast as volumes allow. We will continue utilizing the same routes as previous pickups: N1, S1, S2, N2, N3, S3, S4, N4, N5, S5, S6, N6, N7, S7, S8, N8. The trunklines will be collected immediately after. Continue to monitor social media (City of Owosso webpage and Facebook) to determine when we will be in your area.
The leaf site will remain available for drop-off on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, with December 11 being the last day it will be open. Please take the opportunity to get leaves to the curb prior to our arrival, as we will not be returning. Leaves are not to be raked and left in the street after we have completed the last pass, it is the responsibility of the owner to dispose of all remaining debris.
