“Life Goes On” is presented by the Memorial Healthcare Cancer Center and your American Cancer Society. This is part of an educational program for people facing cancer—either personally, or as a friend or family caregiver—provided in a supportive environment. It is designed to help participants with selected aspects of their cancer experience by increasing their knowledge, positive attitudes, and skills. This meeting will include an informational segment that will help facilitate future meetings based on the needs of the group members. This group meets the first Monday of each month from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. The content of the class will include education, social activities and guest speakers based on group needs. The meeting is held in the Community Room at Memorial’s Medical Arts Building, located at 721 N. Shiawassee Street, Owosso. Participants do not need a physician referral.
