City of Corunna issued the following announcement on April 26.
The Corunna CIty Counil approved a 4-month (Mar-Jun) waiver of City of Corunna water & sewer base and improvement charges to provide temporary relief due to the the COVID-19 pandemic. Many businesses have been temporarily closed, and others are operating at reduced levels. Many residents are out of work and are waiting for benefits to arrive.
The waiver will decrease for a water & sewer customer of $50 per month per REU for each of the 4 months. A water or sewer only customer will receive a decrease of ~25 per month per REU, The city-wide reduction amounts to ~105k/mth (~420k in total).
