City of Owosso issued the following announcement on April 20.
Brush pickup begins Wednesday, April 29th.
Branch dimensions shall be no larger than 3” thick by 8’ long, and must be out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on pickup day, but no sooner than Sunday evening of pickup week. Leaves should be taken to the Aiken Rd. site. They will not be collected as part of brush pickup and can clog storm drains and catch basins if left at the curb.
Brush will be removed at the curb, on or as close to, the brush pickup day as possible. It may take several days for brush to be picked up in the entire city. DPW crews will cover the entire city, moving along as brush volumes permit, and record each street as it is completed. No return trips will be permitted once DPW crews have completed the monthly brush pickup on the street.
